hey guys a new album came out today

can't wait to drive to Silver Platters and buy the CD. I love still buying CDs. I have a tacky looking CD tower that my wife wants me to get rid of because it's kind of an eyesore but I REFUSE

 

I had a nasty stack of CD's when I was younger. I had either lost the cases or broken them so I just had this ridiculously tall tower of CD's on my desk. It was heartbreaking if I knocked them over.

On my second spin now, really demands your attention and pulls you deeper into the landscape as it goes on. Moves at certain pace but very purposefully.

 

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaanyways, only got 1 listen in this morning but I was excited by what I heard. Going to need a lot more time with it before making any comparisons and/or rankings.

oh well im just happy I am going to get to go. I can't wait to hear this new material live and now that I have the lyrics I'm going to sing along to every freakin song. Also did anyone see my genius annotation? I'm cool.

I said the same thing lol. Like why wouldn't I do whatever it took to be at this show ha. I guess I wasn't sure how much I would love this record

 

I've been wanting to see them for a few years now and I've just never made it work.. listening to the album today has me feeling all kinds of dumb for not making a bigger effort haha

 

They are available on “cheap tickets”... yea the name doesn’t quite capture the reality of their prices

did you guys check the facebook group? maybe people are selling

also you all should just be interested in any show you want to go to and keep an eye out for low ticket warnings, because they definitely warn

also i am lucky i got CEG live show tickets on wednesday and nobody else in the entire facebook event could lol

 

Are these being resold? I don't play that game! People who buy tix just to sell them deserve none of my money.

my facebook is just one giant mess of shows i am very likely not going to lol

 

i held off listening to music that brings up the death/loss topic this heavily for quite some time after experiencing it a couple years ago. so i only spun Keep You late last year and it was really dense and attention-demanding. not being a native speaker often forces me to stop what i'm doing to "really listen" or to look up the lyrics as well, so i'm still digesting that record while also listening to this one, which i couldn't really get much out of on my first couple of spins. but i read the bits of lyrics jake was posting a few pages back and teared up, not even remembering what the song in question was like. that's some really fucking powerful lyricism and i just know something special's gonna happen when this band finally clicks - i know it will. pianos season bb.
