No, the drum tech for Slayer did the whole thing.

 

yea he played it but Alex wrote the parts. I remember reading that drum tech learned it all based on Alex's demos.

Alex couldn't make it the studio so he trusted his friend with the parts and sent them to him or something along those lines. That's also why that album is super triggered bc he had trouble playing everything as well as Alex would. ATS is triggered too but that EP is REALLY triggered. When you watch him live he plays them near perfectly

 

the Cloud Nothings dude is incredibly energetic and fun and perfect for that band but from a chops/feel perspective he doesn't touch Dave imo

i don't know if he's too far out of "the scene" but Daniel Davison is also incredible

Steve is the best drummer of all time to go from an emo band to a professor with a PhD and maybe wasn't even doing music for over a decade idk

Gravity, Metaphorically

one of the best splits ever for sure

 

I like every song except traces on Keep You more than Hiding.

 

Hiding is def their best track

 

The new song is great, can't wait for this.
