i think the consensus here is definitely keep you, but i prefer wfl

 

I like Keep You more but it's a tough listen for me so I tend to gravitate toward WFL

 

Wait For Love is different and great. I like it more than Keep You.

 

I still like TLLA the most lol.

oh yeah TLLA is my favourite. one of my favourite albums of all time.

 

yeah TLLA is still amazing too

 

last three are all phenomenal

 

Wait for Love doesn’t wreck me as much (until I get to Blue ), and the drums on Bay of Dreams are always stuck in my head, so that puts it up there.

if 895 were on Keep You proper it might edge it out slightly, though.

 

Dancing and Arizona are sooo goood

 

I'd call 895 one of my top 5 favorites off Keep You. Video is also perfect and evokes exactly what I feel when listening to the album.

 

i think bay of dreams might be my fav song from WFL

 

the deluxe edition contains three additional songs, “895”, “Dancing” and “Arizona” and that is why it will and always be my favorite album of theirs.

But then throw Hiding in there as the opener to that sound... good lord.

I do love TLLA and WFL both still.

Agreed. That's the one thing I think they did better on WFL than Keep You. The drums on the first two albums are also out of this world good.

 

Random question but does anyone have a legit link for a TLLA Vinyl? I see one on bandcamp but just unsure how real that is any help would be great. After reading the thread, can't stop listening to them.

If you aren't picky on variant, it looks like there are plenty that are reasonably priced on Discogs.

 

They're so good! I play drums and learned Fake Lighting because I could not get that drum pattern out of my head. One of my favorite songs to play.

 

Also, Keep You is excellent but I also love Wait For Love. They're both gold to me and hard to compare.

 

hiding is such a good song. wish they'd explore that aspect of their sound more

Hiding is definitely their best track. I would probably put I'll Be Damned and I'll Get By behind that and then all of Keep You

Man it's been awhile since I've listened to this band. Definitely spinning those 3 records soon
