Saw this in amityville and they sounded incredible. Only like 60 people there though which shocked me. Thought this would be a sell out.
Went to Philly and Baltimore (was supposed to do Amityville too but NYC traffic made it impossible to get there on time). Philly was a 9/10 but Baltimore they were incredible. Such a meaningful album to me and so glad I finally got to see it in full live. Very cool for me because this was one of the albums I can remember being invested in the entire release cycle back on AbsolutePunk and even went to the record release show at Asbury Lanes. Stay Inside were great both nights as well. New fan here.
never been huge on this band before but randomly revisited keep you on a whim and was blown away. repine particularly has taken residence in my head rent free, amazing stuff
Would love to see absolutely anything from them soon - music, shows, anything to know they're still active. I'm a latecomer to the band and love the last 3 albums, I really hope they continue to make music.
That EP was so good and honestly better than the last two Pianos albums even though I enjoyed them. I find myself almost never going back to Drift though.
I went back to Drift recently, and I dislike it just as much as I did when it came out. I found it very one note, too many songs that go nowhere.
So what does everyone think about the burial waves record? Kyle sounds great and the music is heavier - really digging it
Great it's being brought up here, it sounds really good, I need to listen to it a couple more times, but loved it on my train ride, it's pretty heavy. Also, produced by J. Robbins
Whoa just hit the climax on this first song, what a cool surprise to hear Kyle sing over stuff like this. EDIT: I'm on the fourth track and already like this better than Drift, let's go, what a nice surprise.
