yeah I went to a shop recently and the guy actually discouraged me from getting a rocket blower because he said it can be damaging, so I ended up not getting anything. But it seems like that IS my best option lol
The only thing I’ve heard of being damaging is using compressed air cause the gas inside the can potentially spray chemicals inside too. Most everyone I’ve met doing landscape photography travels with a hand pump air blower as a standard part of their kit and I haven’t heard of any issues. From my own experience, whenever I notice dust in my shots, a couple squeezes of the air blower fixes it.
What is everyone’s workflow for importing photos and naming them and storing them? I’m not big on actually editing but a long time ago I used to use this one program that would automatically create folders and sub folders but it’s not around anymore I don’t think.
Lightroom for me. I keep original file names unless i’m exporting, then they’ll get a name specific to that export.
Got a camera a few years ago and have been slowly taking pictures. Got some film developed this weekend. Here are some of my favorites.
thank you! yeah same, the one with the trash bins and license plates is probably my favorite I’ve taken.
Liit app and I use the “frame camera” frame for my photos. So I edit in Lightroom then export to JPG, drag them to my photos app on my Mac and then add the frame in Liit
I’ve never really desired to travel to somewhere with mountains but your photos are reallly making me want to now
iPhone 14, with a light filter applied Outside my front door today (great location, but eats up my budget, ugh)
