Bankrupt is a total jam, love that record. Can't wait for this

 

Hope it's good, I kinda lost interest in this band a long time ago

 

That's a shame because they never stopped being great.

 

I don't mean they got weaker over time or anything like that, I just haven't personally played them in a long time. Hoping this new album gets me back on that kick!

last one was kind of dull but im hoping this one is great since i have tickets to see them in a few months

 

I get not liking it but "dull" is the last thing I'd call Bankrupt! It's such a vibrant, big record

 

Over time I've come to love Bankrupt almost as much as Wolfgang, the second half of that album has some truly amazing tracks

 

"Trying To Be Cool" is such an amazing song. That's all I've got lol

 

is it too outrageous a statement to call wolfgang a pop masterpiece?? I seriously can't think of wrong with that album.

 

Totally fair, that album is a classic. That album is also why I think Bankrupt gets too much hate. Hopefully the new one isn't compared to it as much and people will listen to it for what it is.

 

Can't believe they recorded this 3 years ago. Why the gap?

 

I don't remember liking the last one, but I'll give this a go.

 

I think pitchfork used the NYT as their source, and all the NYT said was that they began recording in late 2014. Who knows, maybe they worked slowly on it. I doubt it, but...

 

Just seems unlikely. Soon quickly after Bankrupt too. They toured pretty hard until recently.

Very excited for this. I'll echo and say Bankrupt has some great track, still haven't seen them live so I'll have to give that a go soon.

 

While everyone is jamming that new FOB, i'm sitting here dancing to J-Boy. Love this tune
