I don't understand why she changed Killer and Georgia; former versions are vastly superior to the versions on this album
Also disagree, she sounds more assured with her vocals on the new versions and I love it, they fit the album better.
Haven’t heard the new versions yet but I tend to like when artists record different versions of older songs. I prefer it to when people just put carbon copies of songs that have already been released on a new album. I’m more than happy with having two versions of Georgia and Killer.
i think i dug killer, but couldn't really get into georgia cuz of whoever she enlisted to do bu vocals
That "You Missed My Heart" cover is so devastating and fits so well with the album. Also, the vinyl doesn't have the Smoke Signals reprise, so I'm excited to hear that tonight.
Demi Moore is something else Edit: The climax in Georgia. Chills. On first listen I think I prefer the original versions of Killer and Georgia but I like the new Georgia more than the new Killer. I really like all of the ghost sounds going on in the background of this album considering the artwork. This cover, shit.
i remembered this wrong. I absolutely can't stand the back up vocal harmonies in killer. the dude completely ruins the song for me.
The background vocals in Killer are mostly okay. If they stayed low in the mix it would sound much better
