lol it was talked about in the Fader article so I used the old Google machine.

 

this is like... the most petty post ive ever made. But in that fader article they kept shortening the album title to just "Stranger" and it was driving me nuts.

 

Oh my god I KNEW it was her in the Taco Bell commercial!!! I was second guessing myself but this confirms it!!

 

I'm lukewarm on the reissue because I want more music from her, even as I recognize all the reasons it's good for her to just tour on these incredible songs for another year and continue to build buzz.

 

Just a digital reissue though. Which I’m low key happy about because seeing as Stranger In The Alps is already one of my favorite albums of all time, had there been some expensive deluxe vinyl thing, I would’ve been dropping cash without a second thought. And I’m already flying to see the Boygenius tour haha.

 

Yeah, but regardless of format that probably means no new "new" music for a while. Though I'm happy to get that Tom Petty cover she's been doing.

It was chilly and rainy all day and I listened to this album twice while cooking / then eating.

This is a perfect album, especially as fall is beginning to show itself.

Can’t believe it’s been almost a year since it came out.
