I love smoke signals, motion sickness, and funeral but the rest of the album not so much rly want to see her live tho
Certainly up there, and has my favorite instrumental moment on the album (that little walk up at the end of the chorus).
It’s wonderful and tbh I like the original even better, despite Kozalek’s well-documented shittiness.
I think funeral is head and shoulders above the rest of the record which is impressive for what I thought was the second best album of 2017.
honestly haven't sat thru a full listen of this since like late summer last year. i just tried to and its too much. too much nostalgia with her honestly.
Been a little since i gave this record a listen, i am as emotionally drained and in awe now as i was the first time. this record is amazing.
Funeral was my favorite since I first heard it, but Would You Rather has started to take on a greater meaning for me and hit me pretty hard the other day Also Steamroller came up on Spotify while I was at the gym yesterday and I stopped it and thought "no can't take this right now" then immediately pressed play again because of course I did
Got tickets to see her in Bloomington next month. So stoked. SITA is 10/10 for me. I really like how she seems to have fully synthesized and understood the tradition of “sad bastard” music (for want of a better term).
Lol you must’ve been standing RIGHT in front of me haha seriously one of the best shows I’ve ever been to. Do not miss this tour. The stage set up was beautiful and the band did such a good job. Added so much depth to the songs.
