well it was SIXTY degrees and sunny yesterday. Now it's 34 with a 100% chance of snow for the next 10 or so hours
I’m guessing definitely happening Sigh I guess I’ll see how bad it is when I get off work but the odds of me making it aren’t looking good :/
Yep, what you guys are describing is coming to Boston. Ugh. Currently 60 degrees and sunny. Tomorrow will be a nightmare.
"Smoke Signals" is one of the best examples I've ever heard of a story being told through song. The imagery she uses is breathtaking and the oddly specific references make it feel so real. It's up there with Sufjan's "Casmir Pulaski Day" for me.
I'm just going to hope that the forecasts I've seen predicting that the snow will end earlier this evening stay true
For what it's worth the actual pavement is basically untouched. If it stays around this temp the snow is gonna have a hard time sticking to cement. I think the freeway may be alright. At least that's what I'm telling myself.
Either way, I'm committed. I also keep telling myself that nothing can be worse than driving home from Chicago after Julien Baker in the most torrential downpour I've ever experienced.
I hope everyone is able to make it tonight! I'll probably have a green jacket, a navy blue and green flannel, and a black Julien Baker shirt. Be safe and take your time everyone!
I think I'm unfortunately going to have to pull out from tonight. I'm going to go home and be extremely sad The great chorus Michigan meetup will need to wait for another show :(
I also have to stay home. I’m sorry guys. Please cry for me. I’ve never been so upset to miss a show. I really wish they would cancel :(
I'll let you all know when/if I make it to the venue safely. This probably isn't the smartest decision I've made, but I'm going to give it a shot. I'll be avoiding I-94 like the plague, and my friend is going with me, so at least I won't be alone for the drive. Bummed you guys can't make it, but I absolutely understand!
