Duh Also, everyone be careful driving tonight, we're going from 60 degrees to 1-6 inches of snow tonight apparently I'll probably be in Pontiac by like 4:30, might grab dinner and a drink at Slow's
No wayyyyy what!!! it's raining in A2- I'll keep an eye on the forecast. Thanks for the head's up. I'm leaving work at 3, but Ben will still be in the middle of getting his airbag replaced (finally.) I'm not sure if we'll be there until around doors, but I'm hoping to try and get there a little early.
Yeahhhhh I’m a little nervous about the weather. I’m driving from Kalamazoo, and I won’t be able to leave here until 4:00. I’m hoping, if the roads haven’t turned to total crap, that I’ll be able to get there right when doors open.
I'd love to go tonight but if the weather's really bad I'll probably pass. I'll let you all know what I end up doing either way!
I'm not sure if it's on anyone's way home or makes it easier, but I live in Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor area and we have a couch that anyone can crash on- fair warning, we work v early, but if it's between you dying on the way home and coming over, please let me know :)
damn... is it really supposed to be that bad? I work downriver (Brownstown) so I'm just heading out to Pontiac right from here. I live in Rockwood though and it's an hour+ drive home.
It's pretty standard - it's the upstairs to the Crofoot. There's a big parking lot out front that ranges anywhere from $5-20. It'll probably be on the lower side since I think that's the only show at the venue tonight. When you park in the lot, walk straight to the building, and you'll go up a set of stairs where there's a security guard with a guestlist. They'll scan you in, then you go off to the left. There's a bar on the right side, merch either in the back or on the right side in the front, bathrooms past the front through a set of doors and off to the right. It's a pretty standard, 200 cap room, haha.
So I just checked the forecast again, and it doesn't seem *too* bad. Lots of rain this morning turning to a heavy, wet snow in the afternoon before clearing up sometime during the evening. It's not great for me, since I have a 2.5 hour drive each way, but it sounds like it could be way worse. TBH my biggest concern is being late because of potential accidents that happen on I-94 on the way up.
I'm just annoyed that it was 60 and beautiful yesterday when I had nothing to do and now it's crappy today when I need to drive places
My desk is right by a huge window and I haven't seen snow yet. It's fucking nasty out though. Super cold and windy.
Ugh I really just want them to reschedule the show tonight, the thought of driving in this mess especially late at night is terrifying to me
Is this a Fusion show? @ALT/MSC/FAN do you happen to have any ~inside info about the possibility of weather-related reschedules?
