i first listened to scott street on my headphones walking to work and pretty much jumped into a bush bcos i thought the bike bell sound was real life

 

This came out of nowhere for me and is now a contender for my favorite of the year. Wow.

 

I've not listened to any of the things y'all are comparing her too, haha

Except Copeland, which I tried and failed to get into

 

Gosh, the way she phrases that 2nd verse in Scott St. is just absolutely perfect.

 

Yeah this is stupid good. Hitting me hard this rainy morning.

 

Halfway through this on a first listen and holy shit this is stunning

 

Motion Sickness is my favorite song of the year.

 

so with a bit more time with this under my belt, im calling this my AOTY i think. i know we got some good releases coming up still year but nothing has been more poignant than this. it just gets me haha. i can't stop listening to it.

 

That guitar tone is one of the best I've ever heard

 

Yes.... and the tempo of the song. It's like it was written for a sad joyride.

 

Funeral might be my favorite. Song is so crushing

 

It's been my favorite for a while but "Scott Street" is coming on STRONG.

You guys are right, the EP version of "Killer" is better than the album version, but I like the album version of "Georgia" more than the EP.

 

I haven’t listened to the EP version of Killer in months. I’ll have to do that tonight.

 

I think "Scott Street" is secretly the best song on this record.

Ha. I’ve been stuck on “Funeral” and “Smoke Signals” for so long. It kind of crept up on me.

 

This is the most uplifting depressing album I’ve ever heard.

 

Crossing my fingers she’ll have colored vinyl available when I see her with Noah next month.

The weather here in Southwest Michigan has been absolute shit for the past 24 hours, but this album pairs really nicely with the sound of wind and rain.

 

Drove 2 and a half hours to Grand Rapids for Noah Gundersen (there and back) and it was pouring literally the entire time

 

I woke up around 4am Saturday morning to the sound of rain, and I think it has stopped for a total of 10 minutes since then. They had to pump 1 million gallons of water of WMU's football stadium so their team could play today. It's wild.
