So excited to listen to this! I've never heard of her but all of your comments about it got me really looking forward to this album. I love discovering new music.

 

Finally received my lavender vinyl. Gotta say, it is definitely more hot pink than lavender!

 

I love albums you don't see coming, that just hit you so hard. This is probably a top ten release of the year for me, she's so talented and sincere in her delivery. "Would You Rather" might be my favorite but that's liable to change. Hope more people check this out, judging from twitter it seems she has the backing of a lot of bands and artists from different genres. Has to be cool for a debut.

 

This album is absolutely perfect for a nice fall Sunday afternoon cuddling with my girlfriend

 

When I put this album on for the first time a half hour ago, I had never even heard of her.

I'm now on track seven, and have already purchased tickets to see her open for Noah Gundersen next month.

I haven't read through this thread. Does anyone else get some Copeland vibes, mainly on the way the vocals are produced?

 

After I read about the shooting last night, I listened to this album and had... a dark moment. Had to put on Bleachers to feel better!

 

I get a lot of Noah Gundersen vibes from this, but I can't really describe how. Something in the way she phrases lines and structures songs.

I get so many Elliott Smith vibes from her melodies and production I love it.

 

Definitely going to be in my top albums of the year list.

 

Only found out about this b/c of the mad hype in the Supporter Forum. Halfway through and not disappointed. This is great.

 

Does anyone’s else LP sound kinda... whiny? I’m only on Smoke Signals and it sounds really tinny compared to the MP3.
