Just finished it, wow that was awesome. Barring the absence of a crowd, that was just as good as any live DVD performance. Super high quality. Shout out to Red Rocks for being a real one
I love Red Rocks. One of my favorite venues. They've had a pop-up drive in theater this summer which has been fun.
the red rocks vid is incredible. looks like they shot it with the band facing the direction that the audience would typically face in that venue. makes for a very pretty backdrop.
Still bummed the usps lost my vinyl preorder. I know it has nothing to do with phoebe or the album but I haven’t listened to it much since.
I feel quite disappointed in myself because I’m not returning to this as much as I expected. I love the album, but I don’t find myself reaching for it. With the cold weather coming soon, I’m hoping that will change drastically.
God I Know the End is like a perfect song, such a chilling version. Crying in the morning already. Nothing I want more than for the world to stop ending and to scream every lyric of that song in some overpriced venue. One day.
Come on it's a little funny to imagine Phoebe busting out WAP at her acoustic tiny desk show. But from my perspective this kind of thing really has nothing to do with phoebe's new fans, it's just how (especially younger) people behave on social media these days. And it's pretty easily avoidable by just not reading the comments. Not really telling anyone not to be annoyed though, plenty of things annoy me that I know I should just ignore.
Yeah the being funny/trolling is a thing that happens often in YouTube video premieres and even the comments. I don’t think it’s something you can just attribute to her new fans here, they are just a product of the current form of social media.
been coming back to this as of late - such a beautiful record & great for late nights still sore about the vinyl pressing tho
This didn't necessarily click for me immediately but now I've been listening to it way more. Stranger in the Alps had to grow on me too though
I posted in the vinyl thread, but I was able to snag Stranger in the Alps on Amazon. It’s been out of stock almost everywhere the past few months.
let us know how the pressing sounds if you don’t mind would like to own that but not if it sucks like the Punisher pressing
