This really is one of those rare "any time" albums where I'm always in the mood to listen to it. I assumed it would make me sadder than it does, but it's got this nice balance of melancholy and strangely motivating.
I love how you can hear the smoke detector chirping in the background of the first song on the demo lol
tearing up to graceland, too for the 100th time. the intertwining harmonies between phoebe julien and lucy are magical at the "whatever she wants" part. i really hope we get more music with those 3 together again because they are an absolute powerhouse
Just noticed a bike bell in the “whatever you want” part of halloween. Really trips you up if listening with headphones while on a walk haha
