This is a bizarre comparison, and will probably seem lame in a Phoebe Bridgers thread, but hearing the screams at the very end of this album for the first time reminded me of hearing the screams at the very beginning of Flyleaf's self-titled album for the first time when I was 15. Don't know why.

 

The horns and chaos of the ending reminded me of Godspeed.

 

Just noticed my copy is the same unfortunately.

 

The Sinead O’Connor cover she sang earlier on Zoom was amazing.

 

Also she said she wrote a song the other day that sounds very similar to Julien’s song Something.

According to Hits Daily Double this charted at #47 with a little over 15k sold.

I think that's the highest charting Phoebe project, but still gotta imagine what it would've looked like if she didn't release it on a Thursday.

 

Listening to this on vinyl for the first time, fortunately didn’t get the sound issues on Chinese Satellites that everyone else was.

I will say the brief key change in the bridge of Savior Complex is beautiful and the last half of the song reminds me so much of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, my favorite album. This keeps getting better

 

Yeah I didn't notice anything off with my vinyl. Which either means I got lucky, or I'm not the audiophile I thought I was.

I have the blue/silver one and I think it sounds pretty good, but also I’m not a huge audiophile and I don’t play my records that loud

 

I have blue/silver and I didn’t notice anything off.

 

I feel like mine has a few pops during the quieter songs. Wondering if I need to replace my needle, too.

These lines resonate unbelievably hard right now. I'm making the first move of my life from ATL to LA in the next month right in the middle of the world crumbling. These lines make me feel brave, especially going right into that climax.
