Idk it’s hard to relate to songs about an apocalypse. Don’t have a reference point.

My knowledge of Ypsilanti comes from the mid-00s Facedown Records metalcore band Bloodlined Calligraphy.

  19. All I know about Ypsilanti is it's basically in Ann Arbor and I don't like Ann Arbor for irrational college football reasons

Not that anyone asked, but since I live there...Ypsilanti is not basically Ann Arbor, its smaller and has fewer resources, but as a whole the community is doing its best. It has its own college and a thriving LGBT community, as well as a tight knit arts scene. There are a lot of historical homes and buildings that are being preserved and an active political community fighting against gentrification as people buy houses and properties to avoid Ann Arbor’s insane property taxes.

It’s actually a huge issue that Ann Arbor treats Ypsilanti like a crime ridden cesspool...Unless they want to argue about why Ann Arbor doesn’t need affordable housing because Ypsilanti is right there. Then all of the sudden everyone should move there and leave city council alone. :)
