Harrison’s family makes more sense than Aerosmith, but maybe also Katey Sagal & Kurt Sutter, did they have a feature on Sons of Anarchy?
I saw that she used to be in a band called Buster on Discogs. Googled it and there the bandcamp link appeared
Aerosmith Guitarist Brad Whitford on His New Project: Whitford/St. Holmes Brad Whitford names two sons in this interview, one being Graham (who is in the “thanks” note along with Brad) and one of them being Harrison. Other things I’ve read seem to place this Harrison as Brad Whitford’s son, which is just so weird of a connection for her to have, but also so right.
Wow, great! ;D I knew about this band from some of her interviews, but wasn't aware it's so accesible and there's a bunch of songs floating around. Thought the name sounded like a childhood band with no possible recordings ;d it's cool!
Who from BrooklynVegan is a member here or lurking here? Haha. hear Phoebe Bridgers' old band Buster's EP & watch video of her even older bands "And as Chorus.fm just posted, one of Phoebe’s early bands, Buster, actually has a full seven-song EP from 2014 on Bandcamp, and some of this stuff sounds as great as the music she makes now."
I'm hearing Harrison has also got some more vocals on it (I'm halfway through). I liked his solo album a lot!
Crazy to think she would have recorded these songs when she was like 18 Accomplished more at 18 than I ever will lmao
I say this to myself all the time too, but having lived in Los Angeles for two years, I think that it's important to remember that anyone who wants to enter a creative industry automatically has a leg up just because they grew up in that area. Phoebe and Harrison and insanely talented and I'm very grateful for their music, but it's much easier to find music teachers and affordable studios in Los Angeles than it would be for me in Montana, for example. So don't be too hard on yourself haha. Sorry this got real
Would be quite funny if the album on the other hand was called "Fuck A Stanger In The Ass". Can't wait for "Punisher" to drop - and here I would never get that reference.
