Most people aren't getting into this show. It's probably 10k tickets of which at least 1k will be guest list/industry, etc.
I feel like with the type of fanbase Phoebe has that something will slip through the cracks of the Yondr pouch approach and there'll be some recordings at some point lol
I would assume they’re going to select people in a general radius, right? Although some of these freaks will hop on a plane just to scream all the way through the set.
I don't think they asked for zip code and I think that would be too hard to determine, I just hope these tickets don't wind up on resale
id also doubt that a super exclusive intimate show is going to impact radius clauses for a larger tour (if thats the reason for the speculation), like, i doubt this is NYCs only chance to see phoebe.
considering how loud, shrieky & borderline unhinged some moments were at Phoebe's two Greek LA shows in 2021 even before the madness of the boygenius record + tour, I am quite intrigued to see if her eventual big tour coming up will all be Yondr pouch experiences. Even more than Lucy & Julien, Phoebe's fan base seems especially ... excited about everything she does, so the prospect of these gigs without phones is quite alluring.
A phone free Phoebe Bridgers arena tour would be really cool, I would be surprised if more big name acts will do this
They really should have a small view window or the like in the pouch for people that request it for these scenarios. The FAQ says you can head to an area to open it at any time, but it’s based off of feeling the vibration lol, kinda useless
