Hearing she played a new song as the encore tonight— anyone have footage? A lyric from it is "I never thought anyone could love you like me." Edit: hearing she asked the crowd not to record it.
Fans of Phoebe and similar artists should check out the new Florist record that dropped this past week, it's incredibly beautiful and I think lots of people who like Pheobe would be into it Florist - Florist (July 29, 2022) • forum.chorus.fm
Know it's a long shot but if anyone is going to her show in Vancouver Sunday and would be willing to swap tickets for the Saturday show DM me. Me and the better half have a scheduling conflict and would be so bummed to miss her
She's infiltrated: The indie scene with the Bright Eyes collab and an essay for the 10th anniversary of Bon Iver's perfect self-titled record The pop scene with Taylor Swift, Lorde, and The Killers collaborations The stand-up comedy world w/ bo burnham NOW FUCKING TACOS?!
That guys definitely trying to learn as much lyrics as possible to try and sing along to not be out of place
Saw Phoebe tonight - she blew me away! Band sounded great, all the punisher songs were amazing. Such a good performance.
Me too! She sounded fantastic. I was a little bummed that we got Me and My Dog as the encore when she's been trading off Waiting Room and Georgia, but still a great show.
We got Me and My Dog as well, though I was really happy about it. She let a fan that she'd recognized from a string of her shows prior to that one choose the song. The other ones would be great as well, but at least it was a small nod to boygenius at the same time. Only thing is that she skipped the belting at the end, which is obviously my favorite part, she almost whispered those notes, but I get it - it might get reduntant a bit.
making her big screen debut w/ snail mail haha. https://www.indiewire.com/2022/08/j...-tv-glow-a24-cast-phoebe-bridgers-1234755258/ I Saw the TV Glow (Jane Schoenbrun, 2023) • forum.chorus.fm
