That looks awesome! I just got back from my trip to Berlin and the show was perfect! I don't regret not catching her in Milan when I was right there on the same day haha, nor going to Ostrava yesterday, which on the other hand is 40 minutes from my place - cause she did have a 4-songs-longer set! It was worth the big-ass travel! Harrison Whitford played for support and it was a very cool set! Also, my favorite moment was the outro to "Halloween" when he sang Conor's part with Phoebe sharing one mic. Sounded perfect!
You guys were right as well, kids lined-up hours before, a couple of them passed out during the show, they stopped the music a few times to get help, and "Chinese Satellite" was restarted twice at that very same pre-chorus haha. Glad nothing happened and everybody was really patient.
i have read so many things about people needing to be medically removed and attended to during her sets recently. so strange.
"They’ve never been in tight crowds. Camping out for hours on end is for experienced fans, and these kids are doing it without much food and water, in record-high summer temperatures, all while wearing barely broken-in Doc Martens."
Happened a ton when I saw her in Brooklyn last month. She had to stop Smoke Signals twice. Thought it was super odd for a show where everyone stood still.
Really well-put, wondering if it only reaches the echo chamber, but I feel it hahh! Glad it's nothing that bad for now.
