yeah, I guess she hasn't really even toured on Punisher all that much.

Song’s pretty good. Like mid tier Punisher song to me which is definitely good.

 

Great song. Those strings work really well with the somber mellotron type thing and the super soft electronic drums. Somewhere along the line it became a little too difficult to separate Punisher from the pandemic for me so I kinda don’t go back to it much haha, bums me out and not in the comforting Phoebe way. So really happy to hear something new

 

While I would love a new LP next, I really would love for a boygenius full length as her next move.

Well I’m definitely not gonna manage to stay awake for all of her set but I had to stay up to at least see the first song and witness Phoebe doing the damn thing at Coachella

 

I just happened to get home in time for her set. Still wired from a night out, will probably watch the full set.

Damn Motion Sickness gives me such chills. I really need to catch her this summer.

Thank god for the ability to rewind the rebroadcast. What a fucking set. “Chinese Satellite” is still her best song (and one of the best ever written by anyone, ever) but “I Know the End” really feels era-defining

 

Seeing I Know The End at my first Coachella since the pandemic was overwhelming

 

Yeah seeing her burn down night one of Pitchfork with that song is a memory that's seared in my brain

 

Oh yeah. I don’t think I’ve listened to a song so many times on repeat the day it dropped since “MakeDamnSure”.
