There's been a couple interviews where they've vaguely alluded to doing more Boygenius stuff after they put out their most recent solo albums. Nothing concrete, though.

 

Could've sworn I've seen one of them talk about wanting to do a full album together at some point, but that may have just been interview speak rather than a proper plan

 

I have a floor ticket to the Cleveland show this Wednesday (9/29) and I am no longer able to attend. It ended up being a little over $60 after fees and I’m looking for $60 so I don’t lose too much on it.

he filed a lawsuit back in december against emily personally. i remember reading emilys insta stories about him after phoebe shared them and he is a reallllllllllllllllll piece of shit.

So I just got back from seeing her and MUNA in Boston and I had just planned to go on Sunday but I ended up getting a free ticket to see Monday’s show thanks to a kind stranger on Reddit and am just feeling really grateful right now for the whole experience. She played “Me and My Dog” on Sunday and switched that out with “Georgia” on Monday and I absolutely lost my shit. Had a really close spot on Sunday and was much further back on Monday but it was cool to get a different perspective and I couldn’t beat a free ticket! A little rabbit also made their way to the show and was hopping around on Monday, haha.

Also got to see a friend I hadn’t seen in close to ten years who I went to Sunday’s show with and stayed at the cutest Airbnb across the street from Elizabeth Warren’s house in Cambridge!! I was also far from the only one who traveled to see her in Boston (ran into a bunch of other New Yorkers who didn’t want to settle seeing her at Gov Ball). Seeing MUNA with Pheebz performing “Silk Chiffon” was one of the biggest highlights for me. Can’t wait to see more of them both ❤️

It’s kind of crazy how Phoebe is one of Pitchfork’s 200 most important artists. The shift in how she became adored by them when that wasn’t the case pre-Punisher is really interesting. Obviously Punisher is a very good album and all but she’s basically become so important to them post-Punisher it’s wild. In the past they’ve adored Julien and Lucy a bit but nowhere near the extent of Phoebe.

 

Yeah I don’t think I’ve ever seen an artist as hyped by PF as her.
