Just want to hijack this post to recommend Carmen Machado to people if they're unfamiliar. Really cool short-story author. Her Body and Other Parties is a great place to start.

 

Agree. In the Dream House was the best book i read last year.

 

She's absurdly good in literally every performance.

 

Man that Kyoto performance is great. Still bummed how bad the mix was on SNL

 

Ok that performance seals it. Chinese Satellite is my favorite song off this

 

honestly, the guitar smashing was the best part of the snl performance. i know snl's mixing is historically dogshit, but she also just kinda didn't sound great. those session videos above are much better.

 

Chinese Satellite is easily my favorite song off Punisher. Those lyrics crush my soul.

 

I’ve been really really into the title track lately.

 

Graceland Too for me is the peak of punisher.

 

It’s probably always going to be I Know The End for me but every song is a winner

Halloween doesn’t give enough love and I’m sick of it.

Moon Song and Savior Complex duke it out for the top spot constantly for me.

 

all i know is that Moon Song and ICU have never quite clicked for me in the same way as the rest. Everything else on the album is the best song.
