My brother was a live sound engineer for CSN back in like 2014-2015 and I guess Crosby is exactly like you'd expect him to be based on those tweets. Nash is apparently cool.

 

lol, i didn't even know he was still alive until this week, let alone anything about his demeanor.

 

Surprisingly enough he’s put out 3 excellent albums since 2015. AND kept a band intact backing him. Not sure which was more improbable.

It’s my anniversary, so I made my SO this lol

 

I’ve hardly picked up on any new artists for the past 6 or 7 years for no good reasons and so I’m late to the Phoebe Bridgers party. This album is great. I also want to say that to me the first minute and ten seconds or so of Would You Rather is perfect songwriting, the kind I’ve only heard a handful of times in my life. What a talent.

 

Check out Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus while you are at it. They are part of a band with Phoebe called Boygenius, and make beautiful music like Phoebe. They also both have new albums coming out this year (Julien's in two weeks, Lucy's to be announced) so it's the perfect time to get into them. Three of the best young songwriters making music right now.

She performed Kyoto with Jackson Browne and Philip Glass at the Tibet House livestream tonight (also Moon Song with Rob Moose).

She also performed a new song titled "Me & My Dog Pt. 2" at a livestream for Vanderbilt University students only, which she said will probably be on the next Boygenius release.

 

First the guitar smash, and now she's anti-school? Pshh..time to sell my vinyl
