This is just piling on at this point but seriously what kind of fucking nerd gets offended at something as objectively cool as smashing a guitar? 100% these are the same people that say rock is dead
loved the performance, loved the smashing of the guitar, loved all of it. the screams at the end of "I Know the End" feel extremely cathartic and seeing her being able to smash the guitar on a national stage after the garbage year that we all have had made it feel (somehow) even more cathartic. glad that we're all mostly on the same page in here.
She crushed it on SNL. My only thought on the guitar smash was "damn, that is a sturdy guitar". People love to be mad online though I guess. My hot take is that the episode itself was decent. I laughed. The Zillow sketch was great.
the people hating on Phoebe keep being like “i hate WASTE more than anything on earth!!!” yet they keep firing off tweets to 12 followers every day. idk what else to call that.
Guitar smashing discourse? Wtf..... People that complain about something like that should be shunned from society
My daughter watched the performance with me. Sorry for the inevitable problem she will be to our society.
Gonna buy a skateboard, get a titanium plate and strap it to the tail so I can leave a trail of sparks in my wake. While listening to Phoebe in my headphones of course.
Can’t see that and not think about how the Boygenius album art is fashioned after Crosby, Stills and Nash. EDIT: for the record I think Crosby’s take is bullshit
