This song is, as always, beautiful.

I could listen to Phoebe sing almost anything. Same as Ben Gibbard.

 

Not really feeling the new song but still excited for the record when it comes

 

garden song slowly just became my favorite phoebe song

 

Definitely a slow grower but it's going to quickly climb up my most played of the year so far.

Gonna be a huge week for Dead Oceans if this and Bright Eyes are both announced. Seems like they wouldn’t both happen on the same day, though.

I dont think an album release would get pushed back? A tour absolutely, but id still be hopeful we get one or both of them this week

maybe they want to stagger the Bright Eyes and Phoebe announcements, seems bright eyes is all but confirmed for tomorrow

 

Perfectly reasonable to think she decided to postpone the announcement / release date in light of everything.

I feel like with this record she is planning to try and make a really big splash, and if she’s not able to tour on it that’s going to make it really difficult for her to accomplish that goal. It sucks because I’d love to hear it, but i get the business decision behind leaving it in the can for awhile.

 

i want it now because i am selfish.

I can see it being pushed just because there's just so much going on. It would get lost in the noise.
