Lol. Celebrity worship is weird. I don’t have to identify as a young woman of color to think that failing to smash a guitar 17 times was a little cringey. 4/5 of my top 5 songs last year were from punisher and I’m a big supporter, just thought this one instance didn’t go over well. We can just disagree.

The smash ruled, i didn’t even notice it not breaking because I was like “hell yeah, way to go.” Thought the sparks were cool enough.

Yeah, it would be way cooler if she just destroyed the show forever next time so we can put it out of its misery. That was the first ep I’ve watched in probably 2-3 years and ooof.

 

Guitar smash was stupid. Not because she didn’t execute it well. But because it’s always stupid. It was stupid when Nirvana did it. It was stupid when anyone other than The Who did it because they’re all just playing dress up.

She’s still one of the most talented artists in existence right now and I’ll have forgotten about the guitar smash by tomorrow.
