Couldn’t agree more. For ultimate payoff, it either needs to be heard after listening to the whole album or a whole playlist of other good tunes.

OK I know you all love her sad sappy cry music, but her feature on the new Kid Cudi album is FUCKING COOL. Hearing her sing over a chill groovy hip hop beat gives me life. I know she'll likely never go that direction, but I'd kill for music from her in this vein.

Reminder that Phoebe was incredible at an empty Red Rocks this summer. One of my absolute favorite albums this year. Loved all the talk show performances.

Sad that we never made a thread for the Ethan Gruska record that came out in January because I think it slipped through the cracks for a lot of people. The song with Phoebe is one of my favorites of the year... soaring, end credits pop music!
