Honestly, if the Yondr pouches help the crowds be better, it's worth it. It's actually kind of impressive how much more respectful and less annoying the crowd was last night (compared to the other Phoebe/boygenius shows I've been to post-Covid). It was really nice to actually hear the vast majority of the performance without people yelling over it.
yep, given the nature of the Phoebe/Boygenius shows with fan volume and emotion, the no-phones thing for her upcoming tour is SUCH a great idea. these are hushed ballad/folk songs, after all, so it'd be nice to actually hear them consistently in a live setting at such massive venues
