Phoebe Bridgers has teamed up with LA restaurant HomeState for a limited edition taco. The full press release is below.

In conjunction with her appearance at Goldenvoice’s This Ain’t No Picnic festival this weekend, Phoebe Bridgers has teamed up with beloved LA-based restaurant, HomeState, to curate her own limited edition taco. Named after Phoebe’s precious dog, The Maxine is a vegan taco made with black beans, shiitake mushrooms, avocado, caramelized onions, crispy corn strips, served on a Kernel of Truth Corn Tortilla. $1.25 from every taco ordered will go directly toCASA of Los Angeles (Court Appointed Special Advocate) - a community-based organization advocating for children and families in LA County’s overburdened child welfare and juvenile justice systems. Says Phoebe, “HomeState is one of my favorite local restaurants; Maxine and I should probably be cut off from their breakfast tacos by now.”

Goldenvoice’s This Ain’t No Picnic Festival will take place August 27 & August 28 at the bucolic Brookside Park at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. For Phoebe, who grew up just a stone’s throw away, the festival is her biggest hometown show to date. The bill also includes The Strokes, LCD Soundsystem + Despacio, Le Tigre, Wet Leg, Turnstile, Mac Demarco, IDLES, Beach House, Jorja Smith, Jungle, Courtney Barnett, Earl Sweatshirt + more. Tickets available HERE.

The Maxine will be available from all five HomeState locations in Pasadena, Hollywood, Highland Park, Playa Vista and Sherman Oaks from today until November 22nd.https://www.myhomestate.com/

I used to live right next to their Los Feliz location and it’s amazing. Going to LA this weekend for the This Ain't No Picnic festival and I’m absolutely stopping by Homestate at some point.
