That show was fucking awesome. So stoked for everyone at roo who just had their minds blown, they definitely converted some new fans tonight. The whole band was locked in, especially amazing to see such confidence from Trey. Dude was running around the stage in full guitar god mode.
Agreed @WordsfromaSong, they definitely converted A LOT of new fans last night. This bodes so well for summer tour all around. GET ME TO CAMDEN!
If I get this job I might try to go to Mohegan Sun for one of these....but damn they're expensive on stubhub. GA/floor is actually cheaper than the closest seated sections. Dunno if I wanna pay much more than 150 and it looks like the nosebleeds are the only ones <200. How are Phish prices when you go for them right when they go on sale? Are they much better?
I’ll be at both of those shows. Mohegan is the toughest ticket of the entire tour. Their first time playing there + only 10,000 capacity (!!!) on the Northeast. LOT of people looking for those tickets. There is a chance that closer to the date people will give up, making the search easier and also people will have last minute cancelations. Your best bet is probably going to be CashOrTrade but you’re going to need a Gold account to even compete and be VERY vigilant in replying to sales. You might honestly want to make an ISO post with a bit of a nice story—big time Deadhead who’s been converted, yadda yadda (doesn’t need to be all true, ha). For reference, face value with fees is around $95-$100 by the way.
Interesting...I'll look into this more when I get the job. I would just want to make sure I at least make up the cost of the CoT account in the difference between that site and stubhub. But it sounds like they'll be special shows so I think I will make an effort if I can.
You’ll absolutely make up the cost difference. I think Gold is $10-$20, and you get it for the year. I use CoT a ton, personally so it’s well worth it. You don’t need Gold to make an ISO post.
Happy 15th to the SPAC 2004 Piper > Gotta Jiboo. This Piper has an argument for the best Phish jam of all time IMO. cc: @Wharf Rat for your continuing studies!
I've yet to explore 2.0 and actually since the webcast the other night that makes it the only one I haven't explored at all so seems like a good entry point. And I was just at SPAC last night, kismet
They were really good. They are on fire this tour and doing some really weird and interesting setlists
lots of fun. my memory of the night is uhhhh foggy but it was a lot of fun and they can put on a hell of a show. gordon fucking rules.
