Not really! I’m on tour right now, I was only in town for like 25 days and then left right away again. Will be back in a week and then I’ll suck one down

played ortlieb’s for the 1st time tonight. Fun fun spot

 

just grabbed donuts from HelloDonuts for the first day of school and they were absolutely delicious. highly recommended.

 

Better than Federal Donut?

 

Federal donuts rules. Their sugar blend glazes are really on point.

Had a roast pork at paesano’s yesterday and that also kicked my butt

 

Hello Donuts has vegan options where Federal does not

I would personally put Hello ahead of Federal, but the best donut I’ve ever had in this city is a donut Federal no longer makes

 

If you guys haven't tried Angelo's Pizza in South Philly, you gotta check it out. They moved into the city recently, as they used to be in Haddonfield, NJ but moved because they got screwed over by the landlords in Jersey. Their pizza is great, but my favorite part of their menu is the sandwiches. Their sandwiches are on Sarcone's (best bread in the city). Their cheesesteaks are the best I've ever had, but they aren't even the best sandwiches they have. They have insane Chicken Culet sandwiches.

I had thought for like 3 months this was at the Filmore only to realize today its at nee-Electric Factory uhg

 

first time at Union Transfer. Really like this spot, think I prefer it to first Ave

 

fantastic venue. my second favorite in the city to the church. and tbh, the church isn't that great - I just love it for nostalgia reasons.

 

went. electric factory sometimes has bad sounds in my experience and i mean pup really was great but the lead guitar was little quiet and holy shit it was an oven in there. guess im not the only one that pretty much prefers any other of phillys venues.

 

Electric Factory is the worst imo. Sound is almost always terrible, gets way way too hot. Favorite club venue is definitely Union Transfer. Sound is typically really good and from my experiences there it doesn’t get nearly as hot as the Electric Factory.

 

Union transfer is the best smaller venue. The met is a great venue.

 

Union Transfer is definitely my favorite of the bunch too

my favorites are definitely union transfer and theatre of the living arts. altho the 1 time i went to kung fu necktie i was really impressed w the sound and they got the best beers there being a dive bar ha
