The more I completely overplay the opening 5 songs of Lean Into Life, which is all serious one of my favorite stretches of music of the 2020s so far, the more I've been listening to his ep and the more I think "More to Life Than Baseball" has a legitimate claim to his potential best song
Think I’m going into album blackout mode, I’ve heard enough from the first two singles to tide me over 1 more month
The crossover of his fanbase from his tiktok stardom is still so funny to me. I went to his Instagram for a merch/pre-order link and there are so many mutuals that I would assume only follow him for the jokes and probably have no interest in the music
My buddy and I were just talking about that over the weekend. Gotta be a weird situation for him when the vast majority of his followers are due to his comedy videos and then when he posts about music it throws all those people off and only a minimal amount of his followers are into it.
I discovered his music well before I ever knew he had tik tok/instagram fame. I remember being so confused when I finally did check his socials that he had half a million followers, and nothing about his music on his page(s).
I discovered both separately and didn’t put together it was the same guy for a month or two. Really blew my mind.
It also just so happens that he’s really good at the comedy sketches too lol. If band DVDs were a thing now like they were in like 2004 his would be amazing
Has anyone got any updates on either their Lean Into Life and/or USA vinyl pre-orders? I feel like I ordered the Lean Into Life vinyl six months ago.
I sent them an email to update my shipping address for USA last week and they said it’d be shipping on 9/22
