this is pretty good

 

I think I would have opened the album with Model Train and I standby The Yips being the closer.

 

Albums growing on me but this bucket of water isn’t doing it for me still

As two people drift apart is probably my favorite on this

 

Welp, Bucket of Water made me cry again. As a new dad that struggles with mental health the song captures the pressure I constantly feel. He’s a really talented writer.

 

Yeah, Bucket of Water is on another level for me.

 

Album is great. I got tickets to his show in Cincinnati, then the next night he is opening for Zach Bryan about 10 mins from my house. Those are expensive as hell though….. maybe he can guest list me lol.

 

I’ve come around on spirit animal and love it now

 

On first listen, I thought this was his most consistent record, but lacked standouts.

But no, Spirit Animal is fucking incredible. This is clicking now.

 

What other song from the past 10ish years does "I'll Believe You" remind me of?

 

I’ve been trying to sort that out with Milkman

 

Milkman slaps and it’s we didn’t start the fire by Billy Joel!

 

Nah, that's not it. I mean, it is. But the hook line sounds so familiar to me and i can't place it.

Got a play in. I really enjoyed it. I tend to pop his songs in to playlists more than do entire album play through’s, but this is a great release. Looking forward to getting more familiar with it.

 

So is he going to change his name to Petey USA The Yips before his next album?

 

This gets better with every listen. I love it now.
