Yeah already heard most of the damn album. Just gonna wait.

 

It’s good, does not need to be 5 and a half minutes, but I enjoy it!

 

I’m not sure how I felt about the new song on my first listen but I’m not going to listen again until the album is out.

 

Waiting on the full album, but man this is hard to refrain from listening. Def gonna be a AOTY contender for me.

Songs sounded good last night! I always feel like it’s a bit weird crowd energy doing an album release show, but I think they were well received! I’m excited to hear some of the other songs recorded, really dug “I’ll believe you” and “god is the gray“

 

So far this is the least I’ve liked a Petey album on first listen but it’s still pretty good. First 30 seconds or so of Spirit Animal reminds me of Will Toledo at his worst. I’m also listening on very little sleep and not enough coffee so perhaps that is also affecting how I’m perceiving this!

dammit! i skipped out on looking at merch since i already ordered a signed vinyl from his webstore.

 

For some reason I thought The Dirty Nil was out tomorrow too. Good news is this means even more time for The Yips this weekend!
