Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy talked with Anti-Matter: This is something me and Patrick [Stump] and the band have talked about on a bigger level, but for me, specifically, I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. The Breakfast Club was my high school; it was literally the high school I went to. Every one of those movies took place in that town. Also, I am mixed race. My mom’s parents are from Jamaica and my dad’s white, and they were super liberal and we were in a pretty conservative area. So I think I just didn’t really know where I fit in. Did I misread the beginning or does it say this is his “last interview before end of year stuff and the hiatus”. Has FOB said anything specific about taking another break? Obviously Stardust is wrapped up and there’s that natural lull between albums, but I know they have a few festivals scheduled for 2025 already and doesn’t seem like they were taking an announced break.
Anti-Matter is going to be on a hiatus in its current form, not Fall Out Boy who have no intention of stopping anytime soon. It's Norman you're actually quoting here.
