They're asking me to do something I am literally incapable of doing because I don't know the codes in the system but somehow I am supposed to match our contract rates to codes I don't know ahahaha and they're like "yeah it's gonna be hard I know you don't know the codes" and I just want to die

This isn't even my job btw my boss was pissed about something and apparently just dictated this task to me, and that is this company in a nutshell - fucking boomers+ dictating tasks with no understanding at all about the thing they're asking for, simply because they need something they've deemed important RIGHT NOW done for whatever reason

lol my company was acquired 2 years ago by another and we got a new CEO last fall and he literally came in and threw every higher up out and filled upper management with people he wanted and theyve literally been running the company into the ground because the people running the company have no idea how to run this business and this has been going on for over a year but i make a decent salary so im gonna go down with the ship but my daily work experience is living out the "this is fine" gif
