I had a dry wedding. But I also got married on a Tuesday so I don’t think people were as upset as if it would’ve been on the weekend because everyone had work the next day.

it’s my SO’s cousin and that side of the family is SUPER religious. That’s the only reason I can understand, but I also know nothing about the grooms family so maybe he just prefers to keep it a dry wedding. Not too sure tbh but either way it is NO BUENO for me.

 

When we “officially” started dating we were in different time zones, so it was one day where he was but already the next day where I was. There was some confusion the next year for when our anniversary actually was, so we picked one date to remember and decided that if/when we got married, that would be the date no matter what day of the week it was haha.

But also our wedding was really casual and in a park so it seemed alright that it was the middle of the week
