Crossfit is whole other thing I don't get the appeal of that one

my wife loves orange theory, she needs the structure and gets bored/doesnt know what to do when she just goes to a regular gym, i tried it once when she could bring a guest and just didnt see the appeal for myself, i usually ask her to send me the days workout and i go do it at my gym bc you only need like a treadmill or rower and some free weights

 

i've heard that a lot of people do crossfit for the social aspect, like meeting people with similar interests.

but also crossfit people are annoying.

 

Crossfit is a great way to blow out your knees/shoulders before the age of 35.

 

the literal LAST thing i want to do when working out is interact with a human being lol

 

Yeah that's where i'm at and i've been going for long enough I know all the routines but I don't trust myself to just hit 24hr or whatever and do it myself lol. I spent years telling myself I was going to get in shape and never did so i'm just going to continue with it for now

 

Every crossfit gym looks like someone is getting murdered

I'm at least self aware enough that I know i'm paying more money that I could be lol but i'm finally happy with my body image after years of so self conscious to ever have my shirt of to go swimming or anything like that

plus the gym is on my way home from work which is another big factor for me, if I were to go home first I wouldn't actually leave the house to then go to the gym
