it has gotten even better with the move of blue point brewery to up on main street (and right across from my apartment) so now yall really know where i live - i'm down on main street at least once a week and i feel like every time im down there theres a new sign for a new bar or restaraunt opening. it's such a fun place and i'm so glad we got in in 2016 when it was still relatively undeveloped compared to what it is now.

It's just crazy that we're technically in the same area but 30 to 40 minutes apart

 

Every time I go down there I am endlessly confused by how Jersey Shore as a lifestyle still seems alive and well. And also why a place called The Meatball Place becomes a dance club randomly.

friday/saturday nights can get ROUGH with folks like that, i try to stay out of there on weekends because yeah, any bar that has the space becomes a nightclub after like 10pm and it can be super annoying. love me some meetball place though.

 

I liked the craft beer bar that was there, where you could get flights of whatever you wanted from a bunch of different breweries

 

Yeahhhh haha honestly it's not my favorite place to go but unfortunately this group of friends I typically run with always wanna go down there. I have a friend that works at Swell Taco though and I like that place!

I'm so pissed at my old boss. I took yesterday off and then today my new boss was like "we need to talk". "Apparently you've been late lately and you've taken off tons of Mondays since July". I looked at my timesheet and I took off 12 hours on Mondays since July. That's 1 1/2 days out of 12. I also have plenty of leave time. I'm never more that 15 minutes late and when I am I stay 15 minutes late I just never tell anyone cause it's never more than 15 minutes lol. I wanted to fuckin' slap her cause she also strung me into this new job with the promise of more pay and a position change which has yet to be discussed. They moved me into the position a month ago.

I've worked for the state for 13 years and they've never done anything for me.
