Was there ever such a time...really? I think it's a false belief at best.

 

The new album is going to reach #1 off of pure sales only from tour bundles with no streams and the thread is going to go wild with how relevant the band still is. It will drop off the charts the next week and no one will acknowledge it.

 

in the early 2000s pop punk was on MTV 2 all the time and Blink were the second most famous pop punk band after Green Day, not the biggest brag I know

 

I still haven't listened.

 

While I feel the band is terrible and only ever had one good album, I do just lean toward the whole notion of let people enjoy things. Them enjoying a pop-punk band doesn't much affect us really. I dunno. They are delusional, but oh well.

 

I agree for the most part, it's not like I have the coolest taste ever, unless they're being dicks I don't really care

 

album sales are such a weird metric, like even saying Taylor is the biggest artist because of album sales I don't think is true, just personally I feel like a lot of people like oh she has new music and are just listening to Billie and Ari

Actually I’d rather recommend Pacific Daydream songs lol but off Black listen to High as a Kite which is way better than a Weezer song with that title deserves to be. Off of Pacific Daydream: Mexican Fender, Weekend Woman, Get Right, Any Friend of Diane’s
