I basically just got an unpaid internship with a small social media company.
I honestly think it’s just a small company trying to capitalize off free labor but it helps my resume and experience so I’m open to it, but not taking it too seriously

Well the company owner sent me a friend request on Facebook and I really don’t know what to do. Her bio literally is “Christian. Mom. Wife.” Or whatever and I’m like lol okayyyy this won’t go well.

I don’t know whether to just not accept her or what I should say or what.
I don’t think being Facebook friends would be a good idea, based on what I post. I’m also not interested in censoring myself on my own private Facebook page.

Don't accept, or just leave it in pending forever. That's what I've done in the past, even done that for LinkedIn invites. And just never mention. Most people won't bring it up. If your account isn't public, it's not like the person knows how often you use their FB, in which case you could just lie and say you don't use it anymore.

But it all boils down to never accepting a friend request from a boss.

A suggestion made was to accept her but then make the default post settings be blocking her but that would only work going forward and idk how far back she’d look on my timeline.
