Gina and I decided we want to move when our lease is up and let me tell you folks, finding affordable housing in the south sf bay area when you have pets, well, it fuckin blows

 

I mean it blows in general, but it extra blows with pets. And we only have cats, no dogs

 

This is why I've been so hesitant to adopt. I want kitties (2 to be exact, so they keep each other company during my days in the office), but so many places don't allow it. My current place does, but how long will i be here? I dont know.

I hung out with and Australian fellow the other day who looked like Guy Pierce. Man, that accent is charming as fuck

Australian accents are lovely. English accents are also beautiful. Your slang is also quite charming. Meanwhile, as a southern American, our accents sound slackjawed and are borderline unintelligible.

 

How do you feel about western NY accents with their nasally A, wahter, sahterday etc

 

Also: I lived in NC for 10 years and the first year I drove up home to NY to see the family, (alone?idk brain) my grandma told me not to come back with a southern accent lol

 

They’re sharper but at least they’re more succinct

Some people can make the southern charm work. Most sound like they’re talking while trying to get the popcorn kernel stuck in their teeth out without anyone noticing
