Lol i took it as a joke but thought the thought of someone claiming 9/11 as their grief and not someone elses just seems so 2019

 

It is crazy to think about the fact that this is the first year there will be people of voting age who weren't alive for 9/11

Yeah I mean a corollary to my post is that anyone born after 9/11 has never been around for a time when we weren't at war. Or at least anyone born after we invaded Afghanistan.

 

I haven’t had my kids say the pledge at all since the school year started, but I have a kid who’s parents are ex military and he came in and said “do you know it’s patriots day?”

So I was like oh boy...hey so since it’s patriots day let’s all stand and say the pledge because I could just imagine the kid going home and narcing on me and the parents will call the school and yell about me being a socialist and demand I be removed from my position.

 

my birthday is this month and part of me is just saying who cares about your birthday and work through it.

the other part of me is saying go to Disneyland for the weekend.

It’s the last day of work y’all. As much as I complained I got paid to be absolutely unhinged on most days and be weird with my work friends. But also I’m outta this hoe!
