i haven't played that much (ffxiv) but i'm mixed on what i did play. i don't think the combat is super compelling yet after a few chapters (it's starting to open up but i've unlocked a bunch of options already) and i like the style a ton but the actual investigation/side quest writing isn't anything special. the teleport platforming stuff has been more frustrating than fun. i'm still generally having a fine time but i don't love it.

it's a fun setting though, looks great, music is excellent, hopeful that i like it more as i get more used to combat and get a bigger arsenal.

i just finished i think 4? i know it's too early to judge it fully or really at all yet, just not quite as into the gameplay yet as immediately as i was the best platinum titles.
