i was in 5th grade and i watched the news showing the second plane hitting the tower on our small kitchen tv as we were getting ready to leave in the morning. My mom said we aren't going to school and she went and filled all our cars and any gas cans for the mowers up with gas immediately and that's really the only thing I remember about the day.
