I might keep my 6S too. The 7, 8, X, and others haven't felt very compelling to me. The only thing I wish this phone had was a better camera.

But yea, i fucking love the Max. Not gonna upgrade this year, though the ultra-wide lens is pretty cool for photo-interested people.

 

I just find Android easier to use and it's like I need internet a good camera and that's really it

 

this is why i want a 4s style phone. completely flush camera on the back

The only reason I’m upgrading is for a better camera and also bc my phone is full and I don’t want to deal with it.

But if the new iPhone doesn’t have anything super compelling then yeah I’ll probably just get the one before since it will be cheaper

I’ve never had a brand new iPhone though, it’s usually like months and months after or months before.

 

I dunno, it sucks. Granted, when I’m at school I am on my phone a lot

I use my phone for so much, from work to personal, so I struggle to understand how others dont haha

It could be better, I'll admit, but then again it's not bad either.

It lasts all day for me, even if I'm using GPS for hours while texting and going on chrous and anything else.

 

I've always bought the older generation iphones. When the iPhone 8 came out, I bought a 6S haha. There's no point to buying the newest unless you're okay with overpaying for a phone, IMO. Honestly, I wish I could just buy another 6S but with improved cameras and processor.

 

An android based phone is a smartphone fyi.

 

Buying a new phone right when it comes out is fun. I only just started doing that.

Don't plan to upgrade this year though.

 

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I meant it as a separate thought to the Android part, more the not needing a ton out of a phone.

I don't like the Android UI much. I've been playing with a Note10+ for work and wasnt impressed. The ultra-wide lens is sweet though.

 

rumor is a new SE near the beginning of the year in like March-ish that I might look at getting. Otherwise i'll upgrade next September

Ah, okay. I was confused when I read your post and then I was worried I was coming off like an asshole with my post. I liked my android a lot, but the iPhone makes everything so easy.
