I’m more than fine not tipping Baristas, I carry heavy shit to old women’s car every god damn day and I’ve been tipped twice since I started working here in April. Would usually get tipped once or twice a month at the other liquor store

 

i guess neither is a beer but due to "norms" i have to tip a dollar per drink

actually lately i've tried to be more generous and tip whenever applicable because food service worlers put up with a lot and deserve more compensation than they're probably getting

Also if I ever tip for any non-conventional thing (obv this is debatable on what that means haha) but for example carry out pizza then yeah it’s only gonna be $1.
Like if I’m only paying $7 for a whole pizza paying any more than $1 for a tip seems strange, just percentage wise.

I guess that logic is applied to coffee and such as well.

 

Never. Most of those transactions are at the Pizza Hut next door to my work tho so they know what’s up. I make 10.10 an hour I feel zero need to be generous with tips. Not going to be stingy when it’s expected/customary tho

 

One time my friend tipped this gal $2o for lookin' "Fine as hell". I don't think she was workin' though.

 

My friend had a $368 table the other day and they gave him $370 and told him to keep the change no joke

That’s like 200 pennies. What a damn good tip. That’s more than half of the dollar bills in pennies.

 

I always tip $2 when I buy a drink. I dunno, $1 just feels like nothing. And if I’m seeing bartenders I really like then I’ll tip a lot more than that and I’ll throw in some movie passes too, which they tend to really appreciate.
