Heck yeah, Phoenix is a great record stoked to hear how they follow it up. Glad he’s sticking with “the towns where he lived growing up” album thing.

 

I am beyond excited for this

 

Sufjan had his 50 states project and now Pedro the Lion has their “towns of Arizona” project. Will he beat Sufjan’s completion rate of 2? If he doesn’t finish, will there be fan-made albums for all of the rest of Arizona’s 91 towns?

I know you're being facetious, but I think he'd previously mentioned this particular chapter of Pedro would be three albums in total.

What do you guys think of the Lo Tom albums? I haven’t listened to them. Should I?

Both are great, the second one is better though.

 

First Lo Tom record went in one ear and out the other for me. I appreciate what he's going for though.

I am more fond of the first Lo Tom but Don't Look At Me might be my favorite song of the project.

This was the first year in a bit Bazan/Pedro The Lion hasn't been in my top 10-15 most played artists. Had to go on a binge this past week. It's just crazy to me how much quality music he's pumped out over 20+ year period.

 

thought it was a Pedro Christmas song/album at first. would love that. Dark Sacred Night is great.
